  3.     This application is used to restore Ethernet packet collection
  4.     capabilities to MacOS 8. These capabilities are used by Neon
  5.     Software applications NetMinder Ethernet and TrafficWatch II.
  6.     
  7.     FixOS8Shim works by opening your System file, and removing a
  8.     resource that causes a new version of what's known as the Ethernet
  9.     shim to be loaded. There appears to be no harm in using the older
  10.     version of the Ethernet shim, and the older shim supports packet
  11.     collection capabilities.
  12.     
  13.     WARNING: while this application has been extensively tested and
  14.     has been found to cause no problems in the normal operation of
  15.     a MacOS machine running MacOS 8, you must use this application
  16.     at your own risk. If you do have any problems, please contact
  17.     Neon Software AS SOON AS POSSIBLE to report the problems. You
